Conservatory’s “Orchid and Tropical Bonsai Show: A Splash of Brilliance” on
Saturday, February 6!

PARKING:
There is only street parking, and it’s typically hard to
find a space near the Conservatory. Please allow extra time, (maybe ~ 15
minutes), for finding parking, walking to the building and then finding us once
you get there. Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes!
LUNCH:
If you want to join us for lunch, we’ll meet in the Café at
Phipps by 12:15.
TOURS:
>>> Meet us in the lobby by 1:20 pm, (which is 10
minutes before the tour is scheduled to start).
We’ll do the tour that starts at 1:30. Tours have limited capacity, so reserve your ticket as soon as possible.
However, keep in mind that tickets are nonrefundable and non-exchangeable. So
unfortunately, no refunds will be given, and if you miss your scheduled time
you will not be allowed to change to another time. (If you are no more than 15
minutes late, they might still permit you to go in, depending on capacity, but
it is not guaranteed.) PLEASE BE ON TIME!
The tour goes room by room throughout Phipps, which is very
large. Maps are provided. The estimated
time to do the full tour is two hours, but you can do as much or as little of
it as you like, and you can go at any speed. There are places to sit down along
the way. Once you begin, you can stay as long as you like until they close at
11 PM.
GIFT SHOP:
For those who are interested, there is a gift shop on site
that you can visit when you’re done with your tour.
TICKETS:
>>> Tickets for adults cost $19.95. Tickets for
seniors, age 62 and older, cost $17.95. There are plenty of tickets available
as of Saturday, January 30. If for some reason tickets for the 1:30 tour are
sold out when you go to buy yours, please buy one for the 2:00 tour, and we’ll
form another group that can start 15 minutes early at 1:45, which will be 15
minutes after the first group starts.
